NATIONAL GARDEN SCHEME

We were delighted to be invited to open our garden for the National Garden Scheme for 2024. Our garden has been a labour of love over the past 10 years, as we have transformed a neglected, overgrown space into a natural, wildlife friendly haven.

The garden is situated on the St Michael’s Way, an ancient pilgrim footpath which links the North and South coasts of Cornwall. It was used by pilgrims travelling from Ireland to Santiago de Compostela. The footpath now officially makes up part of this pilgrim route and walkers can collect passport stamps along the way, including one from outside our garden gate.

The garden is broken up into distinct areas including a potager, vegetable garden, rose garden, ponds, fernery, orchard and cottage garden. My studio is set in the middle of the garden.
Small group visits are possible by arrangement but our main opening weekend will be 8th and 9th June 2024. Visitors by car must book using this link but walkers can just turn up on the day. The studio will be open and we will be offering refreshments. Please come along, we are raising money for some wonderful charities.
